Benita Edgerton is an early childhood educator with over 15  years of professional experience. During a first summer job, the gift of working with young children was revealed after successfully managing a larger than usual group, alone and without incident or injury.

Beginning in 2004, a portfolio of educational experiences and opportunities helped to mold an accomplished and knowledgeable child care provider, who was able to adapt to work with clients in centers as well as homes. 

Benita the Babysitter and More was created in 2017 to provide nanny concierge services around the Triangle tailored to fulfill each family's needs and most of their wants, too!

The ultimate mission is to create strong foundations for future generations and the true passion is whole child development with a focus on learning through play!
